Tensions are high in Poland after a missile attack on a village near the Ukrainian border. Russia was initially blamed for the attack. However, citing three US officials, the AP news agency said that preliminary assessments indicate that the missile that hit Poland was fired from Ukraine.
Report, the Ukrainian forces fired the missile in response to the Russian missile attack. The officials did not want to be named because they are not authorized to speak publicly about the incident.

Meanwhile, US President Joe Biden also said that it is unlikely that Russia launched this missile attack on Poland.
The missile landed in Poland near the Ukrainian border on Tuesday afternoon. Two people were killed by the missile. After that, the Prime Minister of Poland called an emergency meeting. He held meetings with Defense and Home Ministers. The government spokesperson said the meeting was called to deal with the critical situation.
After that, the Polish army was put on the highest alert. The Russian ambassador was summoned and asked to give a detailed explanation.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Defense of Russia said that it is false propaganda. Russia has not launched any missile strikes in the area. Hence there is no question of taking responsibility for it. Moscow claims that this campaign is nothing more than deliberate provocation.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peshkov later said he had no information on the matter.
